Quality is where our story begins. Mr Lau immersed himself in the watch and jewellery world and worked his way up before deciding to go it alone, creating bespoke pieces from his converted forge in Hong Kong, with an office, showroom and workshop all under one roof. As business has scaled, Hong Kong office remains at the heart of the design and marketing process, where the creative team and marketing team develop all of the collections. Production takes place in Hong Kong where every piece is casted and made by hand from rough using contemporary cuts, meaning each piece of product is entirely unique. With our capability and flexibility, we consistently seek improvement and better way to present a product. The more we work, the more we are in awe and finally we were hooked. However loving what we do wasn’t enough of a reason to base a factory on it, so we started researching into different prospects, and the more we worked on it, the better it became. What began as a small production, became into so much more. There come Hovon with Sunnywell, its own manufactory subsidiary in Shenzhen, China. |

We are committed to the ethical production from sourcing to our own staff and work closely with suppliers to ensure they adhere to our code of conduct, which outlines strict standards of business behavior. Hovon has been awarded the SA8000 certification and we are now on the way to ISO14001 certification, which addresses human and labour rights as well as environmental impact and mining practices within the jewellery supply chain. We have also been awarded Best Practice Certification by numerous brands and local government for outstanding commitment to sustainability.
